The newly-formed Dutch railway company European Sleeper revealed its plans to launch their very first night train service in April 2022. We are very excited to learn that the new railway line will connect Prague and Brussels! The night train wil also make extra stops in Antwerp, Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Hannover, Berlin, Dresden, Bad Schandau, Děčín and Ústí nad Labem. The train will run three times a week for the first months and probably daily after that.

European Sleeper is partnering with the private Czech rail operation RegioJet, the largest private railway company in Central Europe, which will be providing the actual sleeper cars. Passengers will be able to choose between seating cars and sleeping compartments. The plan to open this new connection is also part of RegioJet strong expansion in the night connections segment.

This new night train service will give our Belgian, Dutch and German customers an interesting sustainable alternative to airplane and car for visiting Czechia.
