A matter of the heart
Martin Pistak
Ahoj! My name is Martin Pistak and traveling is my lifelong passion. I am proud of my homeland that I have traveled and explored for many years. The unique natural beauty and cultural monuments of Czechia are a matter of the heart for me. And it makes me happy if I can show them to other people.
The desire to share the beauties of Czechia is so strong that we have put together a team of people under the name Czech Selection. Together we organize trips and sightseeing tours to the very best spots in Czechia for international clients.
In our company, we focus on a friendly atmosphere, which is reflected in an individual approach to specific wishes of every single client. This is exactly the advantage that sets us apart from others and guarantees our clients an amazing holiday and truly unforgettable travel experiences.
If you would ask me ‘What is the most amazing place in Czechia?‘, I would reply ‘Czechia only has amazing places‘. But apart from the world famous jewel named Prague, the most amazing place for me is the view from the white rock towers of Pálava and the landscape full of vineyards. I would also warmly recommend Czechia‘s unique monuments from the UNESCO list, the magical nature of its national parks and of course the world famous Czech beer.
In my free time I enjoy the books written by Franz Kafka, the movies of Miloš Forman and the plays by Václav Havel. When I want to be active I prefer diving, ski mountaineering, via ferrata, mountain biking and yachting. And I would almost forget that I really enjoy a fine Moravian wine.

A true European
Frank Neels
Hello! My name is Frank Neels and I consider myself a true European. I was born in Antwerp, Belgium but I felt from an early age already the strong urge to explore the world beyond the Belgian borders. It is my believe that travelling is the soul food that we all need to understand each other better and have more respect for other cultures, other opinions and other points of view.
I was able to make a career in professional tourism, working for a tour operator for the Nordic countries. Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland became a second home to me and especially the vast stretches of unspoiled nature made an everlasting impression.
Five years ago I met my ‘lady luck’, a wonderful Czech woman named Barbora, and thanks to her I also discovered Czechia. I was very much impressed by the cultural and natural richness of the country. A lot of the Czech forests resemble the boreal forests of Scandinavia, so I felt immediately at home. What was also very surprising to me was to learn that most people only visit Prague and are unaware of the beauty of the other regions of the country.
We now permanently live near Olomouc, on the Moravian side of Czechia. Our village is located on a hillside and looks out over the wide Haná valley. To be able to see the sunset every night on the horizon is true luxury.
It is my wish to inspire you to come over and discover Czechia. I’m sure I can make you fall in love with all the wonders that our lovely country has to offer.
