The first golf courses were established here in the spa town of Karlovy Vary in 1904. Nowadays there are more than 90 professional golf courses, spread all over the country. Furthermore, Czech golf clubs have organized many international and European PGA tournaments.
In other words Czechia is a paradise for every amateur or professional golf player. The majority of the courses are situated in beautiful landscapes, near a chateaux or castle, in a spa area or in mountain sceneries.
