In the Bohemian Switzerland National Park (České Švýcarsko) a new gazebo was placed on top of the famous Maria’s Rock (Mariina skála) viewpoint. Nearly three years after the dismantling of the old gazebo, the new wood-pealed metal structure was carried to the top of the rock by a helicopter. The helicopter succeeded in putting down the gazebo on its fourth attempt. The three previous attempts had to be aborted due to the recent bad weather in the region.

The gazebo consists of a galvanized steel structure, which is lined with larch wood in the upper part.

There is no doubt that the brand new gazebo will make the view from Maria’s Rock an even more popular hiking destination.
